The 2021 Mazda CX-9 has three rows of seats that can hold six or seven people depending on which of the several trim grades are available. A driver and front passengers will have up to 41 inches of legroom. Second- and third-row passengers will be able to use up to 39.4 and 29.7 inches of legroom, respectively. When it comes to cargo space the 2021 Mazda CX-9 is one of the top performers in its class. In a 2021 Mazda CX-9 that is full of people, there will still be 14.4 cubic-feet of cargo volume to use. For another model year, the current Mazda CX-9 will use the SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter, four-cylinder that will be attached to the SKYACTIV®-Drive six-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle will produce 227 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque when the gas tank is filled with regular octane gasoline. Using 93-octane or higher, the 2021 Mazda CX-9 will make up to 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet. All models will be able to tow up to 3,500 pounds.
