A New Compact SUV with Old Engines
The new Mazda CX-50 is a new compact SUV with a fresh and natural aesthetic quality. The automaker visibly opted to showcase a rugged side to themselves with the first-ever Mazda CX-50. The 2023 Mazda CX-50 is, of course, loaded with premium design features that make you feel more in touch with the rawness of nature. However, even with a new design language, the engines on the SUV seem to be the same old. Under the hood of the CX-50, you can find two powertrains—a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a turbocharged engine. Not much is known about its horsepower or torque.

Technology of the CX-50
Speaking of the CX-50’s tech, there is a gauge cluster that consists of a digital screen. This central digital screen is placed right between a set of analog gauges. Mazda seems to have gone with the remote wheel controller setup yet again with the CX-50 to make driving safe.
What is Inside the SUV?
The CX-50 is as gorgeous on the inside as on the outside. Taking after Mazda’s typical aesthetics, the controls are simple, clean, and easy to use. You might find some resemblance to the Mazda CX-30, which by the way, has one of the best-designed cabins.
