Japanese auto maker MAZDA wants to go big for their home town auto show.  We are referring to the Tokyo Auto Salon, which is comparable to Vegas' SEMA show, which displays the latest and greatest in upgrades and aftermarket accessoires. Just how many cars does Mazda plan on display? If you guessed one, two, or five, you'd be incorrect, because the answer in an astoundingTEN tuned models and concepts.

"Mazda will showcase a full range of customized cars, including special editions of the new CX-5, roadster and RX-8," claims Inside Line.1

The Mazda CX-5 crossover is highly anticipated at this year's Tokyo show. Here is some exciting news though, you'll be able to catch a glimpse of it first at Flight-Line Mazda in Yuma, AZ. The CX-5 will show off its unique crossover design, along with a special edition low-rider version with matte-black alloy wheelset. CX-5 will also make an appearance at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. If you decide you can't live without it after viwing it, be sure to rush to dealer lots in February when it becomes available.

Another model set to display on salons' floors is the next-gen MAZDA2. A regular, Sport and SkyActiv version will be present. Actually, MAZDA has really been looking forward to revealing the SkyActiv engine concept, which plans on becoming standard in most models as soon as 2013.

Other vehicles coming to Tokyo include an updated Mazda Roadster Black Tuned, RX-8 Spirit R, and tuned versions of MAZDA3 and MAZDA5
